Description
Red Light Green Light is a single-player mobile game prototype I developed while serving at Carina Soft Labs. Inspired by the Red Light, Green Light game from Squid Game, the prototype challenges players to reach the finish line by controlling when their character runs and stops. Holding the screen makes the character run, while releasing it stops the character. A doll alternates between green and red light, turning toward the player during red light and facing the environment during green light. I was responsible for the gameplay programming, environment setup, doll animations, red/green light effects, and finish-line mechanics. The game also incorporates a betting-based gameplay concept where the player stakes an amount before attempting the challenge.
