Description

Muggle Medico is a client project designed as a learn-with-fun platform for students and anyone interested in biology. As the solo developer, I handled the UI design, programming, architecture, 3D development, and overall implementation. The application is structured to support a large collection of educational games, with Body Defense currently implemented as its first game. It combines game-based learning with biological concepts, allowing players to understand immunity and how the human body responds to different threats through interactive gameplay. The platform also includes favorites, customizable settings, and monthly subscription-based in-app purchases for premium content.

Highlights

  1. Scalable Game Architecture

Designed the application architecture to support a large library of educational games while keeping game discovery and management seamless.

  2. Body Defense

Developed the first game in the platform, teaching immunity concepts through turret-based survival gameplay set inside a stylized human body.

  3. Educational Gameplay

Integrated biological concepts into gameplay, using pathogens, immunity factors, lifestyle factors, and body systems as interactive game elements.

  4. Progressive Combat System

Implemented seven unique levels and a five-level turret upgrade system, creating progressively challenging gameplay.

  5. Cause-and-Effect Learning

Designed victory and failure feedback to explain how player performance affected the body's defense and which threats reached organs such as the heart, lungs, or brain.

  6. Platform Features

Implemented favorites, audio and vibration settings, quality controls, and monthly subscription-based in-app purchases for premium games.
