Description
Midnight Drive is a personal experimental project I developed while learning vehicle physics and car simulation in Unity. I built the car controller from scratch without relying on pre-made vehicle controllers or plugins, using the project to understand acceleration, braking, wheel movement, steering, and other fundamental vehicle dynamics. The prototype features a realistic 3D car driving through a detailed open-world city environment at night, providing a playable and immersive driving experience. While the physics still required further refinement, the project successfully established a strong foundation in vehicle-system development and gave me practical experience building a functional car controller from the ground up.
