Description
Matchy Race is a client-developed hyper-casual puzzle game created for a South Korean client as a prototype intended for pitching to major mobile game publishers. As the solo developer, I developed the core gameplay systems and level-generation structure, enabling new levels to be created efficiently. Players arrange numbered blocks on a grid-based race track, merging matching numbers to trigger increasingly powerful explosions while preventing the advancing vehicle from reaching the blocks. The game features colorful visuals, chained and mystery blocks, progressive grid sizes, and increasingly complex puzzles. Its modular level system enabled the development of approximately 30–40 levels while keeping content creation manageable.
