Description

Intelliverse-X is a company project developed at Carina Soft Labs as a prototype for a larger game platform containing multiple experiences. I developed the Hide and Seek gameplay prototype as a Unity Developer, with the goal of providing a functional gameplay foundation for later multiplayer development. The prototype features third-person mobile controls, hiding mechanics, red-light/green-light gameplay, weapon collection and combat, health systems, emotes, and timed survival rounds. I also developed a behavior-tree-based AI capable of navigating the environment, hiding, and collecting weapons. The delivered prototype currently operates as a single-player experience, with multiplayer implementation assigned to another developer.

  1. Hide & Seek Gameplay

Implemented hiding-point mechanics that allow players to enter designated locations and conceal themselves during the survival rounds.

  2. Red-Light / Green-Light System

Developed the core gameplay loop around a doll that alternates between movement and danger phases, requiring players to strategically move and hide.

  3. Weapon & Combat System

Implemented randomized weapon spawning, weapon collection, player health, and combat mechanics for the survival experience.

  4. Behavior Tree AI

Developed a prototype AI system capable of navigating the environment, identifying hiding opportunities, hiding, and collecting weapons.

  5. Mobile Controls & Emotes

Implemented touchscreen movement with a joystick and action buttons, along with an emoji-based emote system for player expression.

  6. Multiplayer-Ready Prototype

Built the single-player prototype as a functional gameplay foundation intended for subsequent multiplayer integration by another developer.
