API Content Explorer
Runtime content loading and API exploration
01
Description
API Content Explorer is a personal project built to demonstrate runtime content loading and communication with remote endpoints in Unity. The application requests remote resources, downloads them at runtime, converts them into Unity-compatible assets, and presents them dynamically. It supports remote text, images, videos, 3D models, and audio, with centralized status and error handling for different loading states. I also created dedicated Overview, Explorer, and Technical pages to explain and demonstrate the system. Designed with platform flexibility in mind, the underlying architecture can support Android, iOS, desktop, and WebGL applications. The project is hosted on Netlify and embedded directly into my portfolio as an interactive experience.

Highlights
Multi-Format Runtime Loading
Implemented runtime fetching and conversion of text, images, videos, 3D models, and audio into Unity-compatible content.
Remote Resource Pipeline
Built a complete flow from remote endpoint requests and resource downloads to runtime preparation, presentation, and playback.
Runtime Status Handling
Added connection, response, loading, download, and error states to provide clear feedback throughout the content-loading process.
Interactive Explorer
Created an Explorer interface where users can select content types, fetch remote resources, and preview the resulting content directly at runtime.
Technical Documentation
Built a dedicated Technical page explaining the project's architecture and runtime content pipeline.
Portfolio-Embedded Experience
Hosted the application on Netlify and integrated it directly into my portfolio, allowing visitors to interact with the project rather than only viewing screenshots or videos.
